I'm tired today. Really tired. So tired I slept through my alarm. I've been told I look skinny twice today, which I can never tell if its a compliment or an insult.
Looking to the prep gods for help!
My inspiration today is Miss Bikini Olympia 2010 - Sonia Gonzales.
I just love her. She is SO versatile. Even as a bikini competitor she continues to maintain her strong round shoulders. My trainer says, its all in the posing. She is 5'0" and 108 lbs at contest.
I absolutely ADORE her!!!
ReplyDeleteT.
wow! yeah love her shoulders too!!!!
ReplyDeleteAND just get used to the "skinny" comments. its a lot harder for already small gals like yourself to be able to squeek by with a few pounds lost not being noticed. 5lbs (lost or gained)
is very noticable on shorties like us!
just hang in there! you can do it!
Haha! Thanks Melissa.... I'm glad you know what I'm talking about! But I never know what to say back, "... uhhhh, thanks?" LOL!
ReplyDeleteI think most people don't see a difference between "lean and fit" and "skinny". My brother explained this to me recently. He says muscley have different eyes (vision). Try not to take it as a bad thing. It's their way of saying you look good. :)
ReplyDeleteI competed next to Sonia before she turned Pro, and she really is just a tiny little thing! And yes, just a couple lbs either way make a big difference on a small frame. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI hate the skinny thing! That used to bug the crap out of me. Especially coming from people close to me who KNOW how hard I work in the gym and know I'm fit. However, I think a lot of people are under the impression that us women want to hear that we're skinny. That word in their eyes is not bad at all. Keep up the great work beautiful!!
