Tuesday and breaking....

So, I've had a very personal issue happen. Which may lead to a couple of things. I foresee me putting the competition on hold and competing later in the year; I have not broken my diet at this point and have not made any decisions. However, I do feel that my relationships and my spirit would suffer should I continue prep at this point in time. But again, I have not made any decisions.

  1. Oh Honey, No competition is worth loosing your spirit and love life over.... I'm pretty sure you'll make the right decision for you ;-)

competitions will ALWAYS be around,so do what you have to do in your personal life,if a comp falls into the general swing of things, then there ya go.....
you will know what decision to make, and it will be the right one...

  3. Hey Lady,
Like the gals above, I think relationships and spirit come first. You can continue to be healthy and workout, but competition prep can always come at a later time when it fits more conveniently into your life. I'll support you no matter which way you decide to go and I'm sure we'll talk more about it Friday. Just remember, whatever you decide to do - but yourself at the top of the list, i.e. feelings, spirit, emotions, love. :)

  4. Hey, I'm sorry you're facing competing priorities. I suggest continuing with your prep, only scaled back. You might have to sacrifice some meal planning/prep, and forego a workout more often, but the part that's a lifestyle is also a lifeline. There's a part of you that would sacrifice too much to give up altogether, so hold onto the bits that give you strength, and share that strength with those that need you.

  5. I agree with all the posters above. Don't lose yourself in lieu of competing. You are already beautiful inside and out. Give it a few days rest (exercise and diet) then make your decision :) We're here if you need!

  6. I just ran across your blog and although I'm just starting this blog stuff, and trying to get fit I agree with the others!! You have to put your personal life, needs, feelings before anything else. Hope everything works out for you!

  7. I hope everything is okay. Take some time to reflect on what you want and what you CAN do. Like Melissa said, competing will always be there, it's okay to back off and focus on other personal issues right now. Don't feel guilty about it!!
