Blonde vs. Brunette

So, this blog is absolutely not about trends. This blog is not about hair styles. And this blog is certainly not about celebrities. With that being said, this post IS about hair color... If any of you know me, you know I'm an absolute wuss in changing my appearance because I'm one of those "stick with what works" sort of girls.

So, here's to those girls who can just change... And my votes. :)
Ashley Tisdale: Brunette

Jessica Alba: Brunette

Britney Spears: Blonde

Brittany Snow: Blonde

Cameron Diaz: Blonde

Denise Richards: Blonde

Isla Fisher: ? Um, they kinda look the same... but I like the lighter one..

Jessica Biel: BRUNETTE! Blonde is not your look sweetie!

Katherine Heigl: Blonde.

Scarlett Johannson: Blonde

Victoria Beckham: BRUNETTE! You look like Malibu Barbie, but in a bad way.
And lastly....

Me. :) Needed something new... Thoughts?
PS-For those who are curious about the results of my body fat test... Last time I was 125 lbs with 23.2% bf. Today I am 123 with 21.8% bf... AND I gained 2 lbs of muscle. :) The more I stay in the 120's, the more I am noticing that my body is becoming increasingly efficient at turning fat into muscle. Which is what I like to see!

  6. Gosh, I think both haircolors look nice but the brunette looks more natural. I think you could go with a honey-blonde pretty easily and it would look natural :)

    Good news about the bf%!

  7. Amanda-I use calipers (http://www.amazon.com/Lange-Body-Fat-Calipers/dp/B00029P432/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1303068115&sr=8-13 - There are cheaper versions that are just as accurate) and I have my boyfriend do it for me or I have my trainer do it.
And I think when you fuel your body with the exact things it needs to perform the level of activity you ask it to, the physique begins to reflect that. So, I do some sort of cardio every morning M-F and then do weights 3-4x a week, yoga 2x a week, and train with my trainer once a week which is always conditioning, and I have a real soft spot for BodyRock.tv and so sometimes those get mixed in somewhere haha!... I think doing so much activity along with an appropriate calorie & macro diet (I'm eating 1500-1600 calories per day at a 40% carbs/30% protein/30% fat diet), in giving my body only things it can use. I think when treating myself right that my body reflects my level of activity and begins to function efficiently. :)

  8. I like brunette better, but like me, I think a few highlights to break it up some will set it off. Much less maintenance for sure and therefore easier on the pocketbook. :)

  10. I like the brunette on you....Maybe a little bit of a warmer shade though, that would make your eyes pop even more, and your skin look olive.
